Cooking classes are taught in Hiroko's cozy, yet practical kitchen
with a gorgeous granite island that can accommodate 8-14 students.
The culinary atelier offers several kinds of classes including
French, Italian, Chakaiseki (the formal meal served for Japanese
tea ceremony), and the new healthy balanced diet, Macrobiotics.
All classes except guest chef's class are hands-on and participants
prepare the dishes together and eat what they make in class (plus
wine tasting!).
Hiroko is extremely particular about the quality of ingredients.
Participants not only enjoy the taste of the finest ingredients
which Hiroko collects from all over the world, but they also appreciate
her creative and delicious recipes. Hiroko also teaches table
settings, kitchen gadgets, and serving ideas. From the beginners
to the advanced, there is always something to learn from her!
In addition to regular classes and seasonally held Chakaiseki
classes, she invites world renowned chefs from inside and outside
of the country. To view the profiles of previous guest chefs,
